Patangniya is a weekend trek and completely unexplored which starts from Chirbatia. This trek is a complete package with the prettiest forests trails, dominated by pine, oak and rhododendron trees, lush green meadows, a small lake and stupendous view of Garhwal Himalayas. Patangniya is a huge meadow with a view of a valley below and Himalayan Peaks in front.
You can see a spectacular panoramic view of 270 degrees of Great Himalayas which of peaks like Mrigthuni, Trishul, Nanda Devi, Chang-Bang, Dronagiri, Neelkanth, Chaukhamba, Kedarnath and many more unknown peaks in between.

Best Time for Chirbatia and Patangniya Top: Throughout the Year except for Monsoons. For snow trek you can plan in winters.
Drive from Dehradun/Haridwar or Rishikesh to Chirbatiya via Chamba - Tehri and Ghansali. It is better to start early in the morning, so that you can explore Tehri Lake and participate in Water sports in Tehri Lake as well. The drive-through in the winding road of the mountains is picturesque with dotted villages and greenery. Witness the spectacular sunset from Chirbatiya. Night stay in Chirbatia Guest House/Homestay.
After breakfast we will start our trek to Patangniya meadows from Chirbatiya. There is a welcoming door of Ganesha and just adjacent is the trail which goes to the camping site. It will take around 4 hours to reach the campsite. The uphill trek goes through the dense forest of pines, deodars and rhododendrons. There two small temples in Patangniya Meadows, from here you see the 270-degree view of the Great Himalayas. Night stay in camps.
Enjoy the most beautiful sunrise overlooking the valley. After breakfast you walk to the Palakulari village, it will take nearly 3 hours to reach the road head. The view all always accompany you till you reach the road head. Or if you have parked your vechicle in Chirbatia, then we can trek back to Chirbatia and then start our journey back to Haridwar/Rishikesh or Dehradun.
