Day 1Dehradun - Yamunotri - Dehradun
Departure: 06:00 AM departure from Shastradhara Helipad in Dehradun, heading towards Kharsali Helipad an elevation of 2,800 ft for your sacred pilgrimage to Yamunotri.
Arrival Kharsali Helipad: Land at Kharsali Helipad an elevation of 8,500 ft. by 06:30 AM, and find the sacred Yamunotri Temple only 6 km away from this arrival point.
Pony/Palki Ride: Embark on a 6 km trek from the Helipad to the temple, or opt for the convenience of a Pony or Palki ride to effortlessly reach the sacred Yamunotri Temple.
Darshan: Immerse yourself in the divine darshan at the Yamunotri Temple, and then journey back to Kharsali Helipad.
Fly Back: Take the journey back to Sahastradhara Helipad, scheduled for 12:30 PM.

Important Information
Flexible Flying Time: Flying time of charter is subjected to flying permissions and weather forecast and can be changed if the weather is not permissible for flying or in case of any technical issues
Body Weight Limitation
Each helicopter can accommodate up-to 6 passengers with total body weight limitation of 445 kg for 6 passengers. Heli Yatra holds the right to de-board the passenger if the given body weight deviates from the actual body weight provided at the time of making the booking. In such scenario, we will not be liable to provide the refund amount to any passenger de-boarded. Passengers are requested to share the exact body weight measured on electronic measuring scale. Passengers with body weight above 75 Kg will be charged INR 2,000 / - Per Kg.
This amount will be collected in Dehradun to avoid last minute hustle. Passengers whose given body weight is wrong will be charged INR 2500 /- Per Kg only on the final call of the pilot else will be de boarded without any refund.
Luggage Weight: Only one small soft bag/ duffel bag weighing a maximum of 2 kgs is allowed per passenger provided the body weight is exactly the same which was provided at the time of booking. Suitcases or any other luggage bags including hard case bag is strictly prohibited to be carried in the helicopter.
Flying Schedule: Any of the Dham can be covered first depending on the weather conditions, Technical Issues, huge rush in the temple and govt. permissions.
Infants: Infant below 2 years are accommodated free of charge. For verification of age the child, ID proof/birth certificate of the child needs to be submitted prior to arrival date at source of journey.
Bad Weather Conditions
Flying in hills is subjected to bad weather conditions, many Force Majeure factors like delayed Air Traff ic Clearances/ Permissions, VVIP movements, valley flying by Indian Air Force (NOTAM), sudden occurrence of technical snag in aircraft, illness of flying crew or late reporting of the passengers at helipads, among others. Therefore, passengers must be prepared to face any eventuality and inconvenience in case of such scenarios.
We strongly advise our passengers to keep one additional day at hand, over & above the 1 Day period, to avoid inconvenience in case passengers get stuck at any of the destinations due to bad weather or force majeure scenarios.
Due to backlog / bad weather or any natural circumstance there can be amendments in your itinerary where we can only Ek dham in 1 day or Do dham in 2 days.
And in some circumstances your trip may be cancelled on the day of arrival due to the above conditions with full refund except the expenses occurred in Dehradun. In most ofthe situations, if there is back log due to bad weather trip may get cancelled.
Medical/ Special Condition
Heli Yatra staff should be informed at the time of booking if there is any Medical or Special condition (Handicapped, Specially or Mentally Challenged etc.) involved with any of the flyers. Heli-Yatra has full rights to de-board the passenger if not informed at the time of booking.
No Flying
In case we are completely unable to visit any dham due to bad weather situation we will refund proportionate money i.e if due to any reason we are unable to do 1 dham then we will refund Proportionate money subjected to the fl ying hours which is exclusive of Royalty fee, Taxes and fixed components.
Passenger Grouping
In view of our helicopters’ limited weight carrying capacity, operating company reserves the right to shuff le passengers between helicopters to manage the right weight for safe flying in the hills. Therefore, passengers travelling together may not be accommodated in same helicopter flight.
Only 1 Cab/ Vehicle will be provided for 6 Passengers throughout their entire journey
Rescheduling Of Booking
Rescheduling your booking to any future or prior travel date, will be done subject to availability, and on payment of 20% of the total tour cost. This will be permitted only if informed at least 30 days before arrival date.
In case rescheduling is requested less than 30 days prior to the travel date, then the booking would be treated as cancelled, & a fresh booking will be given subject to availability, after the levy of applicable cancellation charges.
Other Important Terms
- As this is NSOP (Non scheduled operations) flying, flying time for the next day is conveyed to passengers a night prior once the operation plan is finalized in the evening/ night after sunset.
- It's compulsory for passengers to arrive a night prior at Dehradun from their respective flying dates so that they can report at the Sahastradhara helipad on time with out any delay.
- We do not provide Accommodation & Airport/ Hotel Transfers in our Same-Day Heli-Tours.
- If there is any technical snag in the helicopter or any sudden testing required there might be a possibility of delay or passenger may fly on the next day. In case of major part failure, your trip may be cancelled in between the Yatra.
- There can be a waiting time at every helipad for upto 2 hours approx. depending upon the multiple factors like Bad Weather, NOTAM & other operational challenges etc.
- As this is a Same-Day Heli-tour, there can be instances where we have to prioritize passenger's darshans and we might skip 01 meal (Breakfast/ Lunch) included in the package so that Darshans are not hampered in case of Bad Weather, NOTAM & other operational challenges etc.
- In case of emergency and bad weather scenarios, passengers will be taken back to Dehradun by road.
- Aadhar Card copy is mandatory to be submitted in advance before the date of fl ight by all Indian passengers, and Passport in case of foreign nationals.
- Any donations, tips, pitthu, palki/pony and porter charges shall be borne by the passengers.
- At each dham we have our informed handlers and incase of any assistance client has to reach out the handlers.
- Any night halt due to any circumstances will be borne by the customers and client has to pay the amount on actual in the hotel directly.
GUIDELINES FOR PASSENGERS
- Maximum 5/6 Passengers/Guests will be allowed in 01 Helicopter.
- Only 2 kg of luggage per passenger will be permitted due to limited space in the helicopter. Passengers bringing excess baggage would not be allowed to take the same in the chopper. At any cost we won’t allow passenger to take more luggage. This is the standard safety rule for Aviation.
- At these locations, it becomes cold throughout, so passengers must carry woolen clothes with them.
- Both temples are located in high altitude areas. Passengers are advice to carry a regular medical kit.
- Passengers should carry only handbags (Soft bags/ duffle bags) as suitcases cannot be kept in the helicopter.
- Total passenger weight should not be more than 445 KG.
- If individual body weight exceeds 75 Kgs, Extra charges of INR 2000 per Kg will be applicable.
- While changing the helicopter at Kedarnath or Guptkashi the waiting time is between 10 mins to 3 hrs. depending on Shuttle slots / weather conditions or technical reasons.
- Passengers may be divided into 2 groups while changing the helicopter at Kedarnath/Guptkashi shuttle depending on their body weight.
- Patients with psychiatric issues, such as depression or obsessive compulsive disorders or any sort of mental illness, will not be allowed to fly due to safety reasons.
- All passengers will be taken to all the helipads atleast 1 hour prior before the departure time. In this case sometimes you may have to wait at govt. helipad.
- Please share your actual body weight at the time of Booking. Your body weight will be measured before flying. Company have full rights to de-board a passenger incase the actual body weight exceeds than the weight given by passengers. Kindly don’t share any assumed body weight.
- Timings are flexible depending on weather conditions/technical reasons/govt. permissions etc.
Helicopter Tour - Terms and Conditions
- Children above the age of 2 years will be considered a full ticket. Infant below 2 years are car- ride free of charge, in case of dispute birth certificate can prevail.
- Any extra night halt due to bad weather will be borne by the client itself.
- There is no provision of concession to children or senior citizens for helicopter yatra.
- The booking has to be done in advance with a deposit of 50% of the charter amount.
- The full amount has to be deposited 20 days prior to the date of the journey.
- One cab will be provided to the group of upto 6 pax wherever required.
- Rescheduling of booking can be done prior to 30 days of journey date and is subject to availability with 25% extra charges. In case the rescheduling is requested with less than 30 days to the journey then the booking will be treated as canceled.
- In case the journey is not finished within the given time and passengers would not be able to Dham due to bad weather conditions/technical reasons. In this scenario company will still try to visit the all dham by extending the timeframe. Company will do all the dhams on the next day if weather condition remains poor whole day and so on.
- We recommend you to book your return flight one day later. Company will not bear any cancellation of flights at any cost.
- Disputes as to legality, interpretation, application or performance of services or any of its terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Delhi jurisdiction.
- Incase of emergency and bad weather passengers will be taken back to Dehradun by other means of Transport.
- No money will be refunded incase the passenger is de-boarded due to wrong given body weight.
- Your luggage will be strictly not allowed in the helicopter if it is found more than 2 KG at the helipad.
- Prices will remain same even incase the royalty fees changes or remains same.
- In case we are completely unable to visit any dham due to bad weather situation we will re- fund proportionate money. This refundable proportionate money is exclusive of Royalty fee, Taxes and fixed components.

- Company has an authority to cancel/reschedule the charter incase of bad weather / backlog/ technical issue even on the same day of flying
Cancellation Policy
- Within 15 days of Arrival Date/ No Show: No Refund
- 15 Days to 30 Days prior to Arrival: 50% of the total package cost.
- 30 Days & More: 10% of package cost (and taxes are not refunded in any case)
- Note: No refunds in case of Road Blocks, Accidents, etc
