The Binsar Retreat is known for its ecological tourism and stunning Himalayan and forest views, and is situated at a height of 7500 feet 30 kms NE of Almora in Kumaon. The Binsar retreat Resort is in the core area of Binsar wildlife sanctuary, and comprises five luxury tents with modern amenities: attached bath( with running cold water & hot water provided on request), wooden floors, solar power backup (for the whole night lanterns are provided), traditional textiles, private verandah with flower garden and three Himalaya facing rooms with the same facilities as the tents.

The philosophy of the Binsar Retreat is to care for and conserve nature and to provide the guests with an experience in the forest which emphasizes on the importance of conserving the delicate balance between man and nature.

Binsar Retreat is located at Binsar a sanctuary and reserve forest 30 kms uphill from Almora (Uttarakhand, India).

The Binsar Retreat have deluxe room and luxury tents, each tent here is well equipped with a comfortable bed, seating area, aesthetic decor and alfresco seating area. Each tent has an attached bathroom as well. The retreat offers services and facilities like hot water on request, heater in 2 rooms and room service.

Note

Cars are not allowed at resort. The Binsar Retreat provides parking facility, approximately 500 metres away from the resort. Guests will be picked up from there by Gypsy.

With the typical village lifestyle - two nights stay in the retreat & one night stay in a village inside the sanctuary. For extra day – Rs 3000 per couple on MAPI.

Extra Bed Charges :

• 5-12 year Rs 1000 a day per child with extra bed
• Above 12 year Rs 1500 a day per person with extra bed.
• For extra day - Rs 3500 per couple on MAPI
