Indian Institute of Technology Mandi, or IIT Mandi, was established in 2009. It is one of the eight new generation IITs established by the Government of India. The institute is located in the Kamand valley, Mandi district in Himachal Pradesh. IIT Mandi is ranked 43rd in the overall category and 20th in the engineering category by NIRF.
