Tour Itinerary
Day 1Kathgodam – Lohajung (225 kms / 8-9 hours)
Pickup will be from Kathgodam Railway Station and then drive to Lohajung. The drive is a long one but the beautiful views of the hills and rivers should be rewarding enough.
Day 2Lohajung – Didina (10 km)
Post breakfast, we start our trek from Lohajung to Didina. We traverse through the forests with initial easy trail which then starts to climb up steadily. We camp at Didina for the night.
Day 3Didina – Bedni Bugyal (12 km)
We leave early for Bedni Bugyal via Tolapani which is a hamlet situated amidst the lush greenery high up in the mountains. After trekking for 2 hours we reach the beautiful Ali Bugyal. Bedni Bugyal is just 2.5 kms from Ai Bugyal. We camp at Bedni Bugyal.
Day 4Bedni Bugyal - Baghubasa (12km)
After paying our obeisance to the majestic Nanda Ghunti, Chaukhamba, Trishul, Nilkantha peaks from Bedni Bugyal, we move forward towards Baghubasa. We reach Baghubasa by evening which is a beautiful campsite. We halt for the night.
Day 5 Baghubasa – Roopkund – Junairgali Pass – Sheela Samudra (12 kms)
We start early today for ascend to the famed Roopkund lake which will take around 3 hours. We spend some time among the skeletons resting and enjoying the lake. Trek to Junairgali top is a little difficult one that requires ice climbing. Once we reach the summit, the view is spellbinding. We descend to Sheela Samudra and camp for the night.
Day 6Timeout (Rest)
After a tiring day yesterday, we relax today. Explore the vicinity or just lie in the cool breeze. Hope you have your camera ready!
Day 7Sheela Samudra – Dodang (8 km)
After a refreshing Day 6, we once again start our journey amidst the mountains. We walk beside the Nandakini River as we reach Dodang. We call it a day at Dodang and camp overnight.
Day 8Dodang – Homkund – Ronti Saddle (10 km)
We start early for our destination – Ronti Saddle. The views offered from the top of Ronti Saddle is breath taking. Ronti Peaks 1, 2 and Trishul 1, 2, 3 and Nanda Ghungti looks amazing.
Day 9Dodang – Chandaniya Ghat – Latakhopri (16 km)
From today we make our way back to the civilization. We cross a river to reach Lata Khopri which will be our campsite. Overnight stay will be at tents.
Day 10 Lata Khopri – Sutol (12 km)
The descent down to Sutol is a picturesque one which descends down through the forest. Sutol is a beautiful village with a temple, shop and few homes. Overnight stay will be at camps.
Day 11Sutol – Sitel – Lohaghat (11 km trek, 1 km by road)
We descent back to the civilization via Sitel village. From, Sitel we drive back to Lohaghat, Night stay in Lohaghat or nearby destination.
Day 12Lohaghat to Kathgodam
Departure from Lohaghat. Our trek services will end at Kathdodam.

Ronti Saddle Trekking Guide
Ronti Saddle Trek – a saddle between the Himalayan peaks of Nanda Ghunti and Trishul. The trek offers grand views of Nanda Ghungti(6309 mtr), Trisul I (7120 mtr), II (6690 mtr), III (6007 mtr) mountains.
The Route of Ronti Saddle Trek passes through the trail of roopkund. Roopkund, comes on the fourth day of this trek. The trek further continues via Ronti Saddle & Channia ghat to end in Sithail. One will experience the best bugyals or meadows of Bedni and Ali. the seren view of Nanda Ghunti and Trishul
