Doon University Dehradun - Exam Dates Results AdmissionsThe first campus of the Doon University which will function as its Headquarters is being established at Kedarpur (Dehradun) on an area of 55 acres. The construction work at this Campus is in progress. The second campus of Doon University is proposed to be established on 100 acres of land at Sahaspur (Dehradun). It is proposed to establish science and technology related schools at this campus. Besides an Incubation Center, Science Park and Herbal Center would also be established at this site. Campus Location and Development of Doon University The Doon University campus (Kedarpur), located on the eastern parts of Dehradun city and spread over roughly 55 acres of land, is currently under development. Set amidst beautiful environs, the river Rispana runs along the eastern and southern boundaries of the campus. A residential colony for the Uttaranchal Government Secretariat staff flanks its northern side and beyond the western edge of the campus lie stretches of agricultural land. Work on the Academic and Administrative Building-I with facilities for classrooms, offices, library, conference/seminar rooms and mini-auditorium is nearing completion. Student’s hostel and dinning facilities, faculty housing etc are all on schedule to complete in the next few months. Work on other buildings and facilities— central library, convention center, communication studio, Academic Building-II and sports complex have already been initiated and are at various stages of development. When fully functional, the Kedarpur campus will house about 1100 students and over two hundred faculty and supporting staff.
