Places to See in Binsar

Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary: It is the home of 200 species of bird, Barking Deer, Himalayan bear, leapord, fox, musk deer, langur, porcupine, flying squirrel, chital, jungle cat etc. Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary is dense and animals are easy to spot. Binsar wildlife sanctuary is spread over an area of 47.79square kilometers. It was established in the year 1988. Pine, oak and rhododendron trees are found in abundant amount at Binsar Wildlife sanctuary.

Bineshwar Temple: It is a famous temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Bineshwar is the major crowd puller of Binsar. A visit in this sacred temple of 13th century is a must. This temple was constructed by King Kalyan of the Chand Dynasty.
