Nainital: Nainital is situated at a distance of 80kms from Kashipur at an elevation of 1,938mts above sea level. Nainital is given the epithet of “Lake District” because it dotted with five lakes Nainital, Bhimtal, Naukuchiatal, Khurpatal, and Sattal. Nainital is a glistening pearl of the panoramic Himalayan Range blessed with spectacular natural splendors and varied flora and fauna. Jim Corbett National Park: It is the oldest national park of India named after Jim Corbett a British hunter who gave up hunting. Corbett national park was founded in 1936 as Hailey national park in the Nainital district of Kumaon region of Uttarakhand. The park covers an area of 521sqkms. There are 488 different types of plants and over 585 types of birds and many species of animals. But the most important reason why tourists visit this place is tigers and herds of elephants. Jim Corbett National Park is situated 29kms from Kashipur.

Ramnagar: It is situated in the Nainital district of Kumaon region of Uttarakhand state on the banks of Kosi River at an elevation of 345mts above sea level. Ramnagar town was established in 1856 by Commissioner H.Ramsay. Ramnagar is situated in the rich farm belt of Terai, on the southeastern fringes of the great forests. The busy market town of Ramnagar is the main administrative centre for Corbett National Park and Project Tiger. Ramnagar is connected with motorable roads as well as railway networks. Its proximity with Corbett national park and Nainital makes it even more popular destination. Ramnagar is the ideal spot for fishing camp and the place offers as an administrative centre for Corbett national park. Ramnagar is also famous for Litchi farming. Ramnagar is situated at a distance of 25kms from Kashipur.

Rudrapur: It is an important city in the district of Udham Singh Nagar in Uttarakhand and also the direct headquarters. Rudrapur what we know today was originally established as a refugee camp for people coming from Pakistan, West Punjab and Burma in 1960. The Terai region was then not fit for human civilization as it was occupied by wild animals that would often attack human beings. The administration then distributed small pieces of land to several families and encouraged them to start cultivation and make it for human existence. According to legend, King Rudra was stuck in a swampy land while passing through this place on his chariot. He then decided to construct a temple and a well in this place. People say that it is the Atariya temple that was built by King Rudra. Rudrapur is situated 54kms from Udham Singh Nagar.
