Ghuttu is the base camp for some treks like Mayali Pass Trek, Kaitlin Sahastratal Trek, and many more. It is located 174kms away from Haridwar. It is a small village located in Tehri district in Garhwal Himalayas. There are couple of shops and handful of guesthouses at the village. One of the main attraction Spot is Tehri-Garhwal here. This Beautiful Small Town is located on the banks of Bhilangana River at distance of 64Kms away from Tehri Garhwal and sets up an elevation of 1,524mts above sea level.

Masar Tal trek follows the route Kush Kalyani via Sillachhan. This trek gives you a breathtaking horizon conquered by the snow capped peaks of Jogin group at 6,466mts, Barte Kauter at 6,579mts, Sphetic Pristwar at 6,905mts, Kirti Stambh at 6,902mts and Meru at 6,660mts and whispering forests, gentle meadows, several streams and waterfalls.

The main route to reach Ghuttu starts from Rishikesh. Rishikesh is ideally connected from Delhi, you can reach Rishikesh by all means of transportation. Nearest Railhead is Haridwar Railway Station. After reaching Rishikesh you can take bus or hire a taxi for Ghuttu or Ghansali. It will take 4-5 hrs from Rishikesh. One can the way you can also see the Tehri Dam.
