Asan is a bird watcher’s paradise popular for bird watching in the months December to March. It is a peaceful destination which can be visited at any time of the year. It is also known as the Dhalipur Lake. It was created in the year 1967 as a result of the construction of Asan barrage at the confluence of the river Yamuna & Asan through Dhalipur power house. The maximum temperature of the place goes upto 38o C whereas the minimum temperature falls upto 2o C. The GMVN Rest House at Asan Barrage offers deluxe accommodation with scenic views.
