Away from the hustle bustle of urban city Dehradun, Tiger Falls is a magnificent waterfall located amidst hilly terrain near Chakrata.It is one of the highest waterfalls of Uttarakhand, having an elevation of 312 ft. Untouched by commercialization, Tiger Falls are favourite attraction among basic trekkers as well as a remote picnic spot for friends.

Tiger Falls - Fun Place At Chakrata
Tiger Falls is a major tourist attraction located near cantonment town Chakrata. Visitors can enjoy a rejuvenating bath below the 50 mtrs waterfall which converges in a small pond. Surrounded by the dense forest, gushing water enchants loudly in-between the hills.
Tiger Falls is still far away from casual visitors, since it is not developed yet. But trekkers and travellers finds it a peaceful as well as enthralling experience to visit Tiger Falls.
Chakrata to Tiger Fall Trek Route
For the adventure types, there is a trek route which will take you from Chakrata to the Tiger waterfalls. The trek is an easy one and is barely 5 kms. The trek commences from the Chakrata taxi stand near the cantonment and takes one downhill through few hamlets, lush green fields and offer spellbinding view of the snow-clad mountains.
How To Reach Tiger Falls Chakrata
Travellers can take a easy trek of 5 km from Chakrata to reach Tiger Falls or hire a cab from Chakrata to get closer by 1 km from the waterfall. As the place is remote, frequent vehicles are unavailable. Nearest railway station is Dehradun railway station (86 kms) and airport at Jolly Grant Airport (116 kms).
