Suggested Chenap Valley Trekking Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi – Rishikesh (230 km/ 6 hours approx)
The trek starts with a morning drive from Delhi to Rishikesh via Haridwar. Check into the hotel. One can indulge in local sightseeing if time allows. The famed Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat is a must-see.

Day 2: Rishikesh – Joshimath (240 km/ 9 hours approx)
After having breakfast, we leave for Joshimath via Devprayag, where the holy confluence of Bhagirathi and Alaknanda River give rise to the mighty Ganges. At dusk, we will reach Joshimath. Dinner and overnight stay will be at one of the Joshimath hotels.

Day 3: Joshimath - Vishnu Prayag (10 km by road) - Thaing Village (8 km trek)
Post breakfast we drive to Vishnu Prayag and after crossing the bridge at Vishnuprayag, start our 8km trek to Thaing Village.

Day 4: Thaing Village - Dhar Kharak (6 kms)
After having breakfast we start our trek towards Dhar Kharak or Baidwa Kahrak which will take us through the lush green forests and brooks. Lunch will be served on the way.

Day 5: Dhar Kharak - Chenap Meadow (4 km)
Today we start out trek from Dhar Kharak and end it at Chenap meadow. Lose yourself amidst 500 types of flowers. Overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 6: Chenap Valley
Today is the day reserved for exploring the beautiful meadow. Go exploring. Overnight stay will be at camp.

Day 7: Chenap Valley – Thaing Village
After having breakfast, we trek down to Thaing village. Overnight stay will be in tents.

Day 8: Thaing Village - Vishnu Prayag - Joshimath - Srinagar (160km/5-6 hours)
We wake up early and after having breakfast, trek down to Vishnu Prayag and from there drive to Srinagar via Joshimath. Dinner and overnight stay will be in hotel in Srinagar.

Day 9: Srinagar – Rishikesh – Haridwar – Delhi
Post breakfast we drive to Delhi via Haridwar. By evening you will reach Delhi. Tour ends here.
