Lord Kartik Swami’s Badrinath Yatra begins from Krounch Mountain, with plans to visit several pilgrimage sites, including Badrinath. Devotees have gathered at the Krounch Mountain shrine to participate in the yatra.
Over the eight-day journey, various temples will be explored, with the yatra reaching Badrinath on June 2 and concluding back at Krounch Mountain on June 4. Know more about Kartkiswami Temple.
The people of the Kartik Swami temple committee gave a grand welcome to the South Indian guests. The group of pilgrims from South India reached the Kartik Swami temple after completing the pilgrimage of Badrinath and Kedarnath.
Maha Yagya has started in the only Kartik Swami temple located in Kronch Parvat (mountain) of North India. Lord Kartikeya is the patron deity of 362 villages of Rudraprayag and Chamoli districts. Devotees are also arriving from South India to earn the merit of Maha Yagya. Maha Yagya will conclude on June 15 with Purnahuti and distribution of Prasad. On June 14, a grand Jal Kalash Yatra will be organized in the Maha Yagya.
