Teen Dhara is a famous resting place for the travellers on Rishikesh - Devprayag Highway. Well known for low cost restaurants (Dhabas), this very small area is situated on the NH 58 along the river Ganga. As the name signifies Teen Dhara means a place where three water springs are situated.
Teen Dhara now fully emerged as a popular stoppage for the tourists on the NH 58 travelling to famous shrines of Badrinath and Kedarnath in Chamoli and Rudraparyag. Apart from big restaurants, locals also set small shop selling Lemon water, Makka, Jal Jeera and tasty Cucumber with spicy salt. Traditional drinks and snacks with spring water is mostly like by the tourist. During the peak season time of Chardham Yatra, it gets packed with tourists from all over the country and the world too. Tourists stopped by to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. Above the shops there is a Teen Dhara village of over 500 people.

Teen Dhara is located in Near Devprayag ( a small market with couple of hotels between Devprayag & Byasi).
Although this is not a picnic spot but still tourist get attracted to this location. Tourist can be easily reach here via NH 58, located 61 kms from Rishikesh Bus station. Devprayag is situated at 10 kms from Teen Dhara.
