The Garhwal Rifles Regimental War Memorial: This War memorial at Lansdowne was unveiled on 11 Nov 1923 by Lord Rawlinson of Trent, the then Commander in Chief of India. Located at the Parade Ground, this museum is a major crowd puller of the town.

Garhwali Mess: Being one of the oldest buildings of Lansdowne, Garhwali Mess dates you back to the Victorian period. The mess was built in Jan 1888 which subsequently became the present mess in 1892. Garhwali Mess is very well maintained heritage site of Lansdowne.

Regimental Museum: It is a motivational hall inaugurated in 1983, named after Darban Singh Negi. Rare collection of Garhwal Rifles can be seen at Regimental Museum.

St. Marry’s Church: This artistic church was built by Colonel AHB Hume in 1896. St Marry’s Church fell into disuse after 1947; the building has been restored now by Garhwal Rifles Regimental Centre. Pre Independence photographs, audio and visual display of Regimental history can be seen at this place.

St. John’s Church: It is a Roman Catholic Church situated on the mall road. The church was previously a forest bungalow and it reopened on Nov 29, 1980. St. John’s Church is the only Church of worship in Lansdowne.

Bhulla Tal (Lake): Literally ‘Bhulla’ means younger brother in Garhwali. This artificial lake is dedicated to the young Garhwali youth of Garhwal rifles who contribute their services for our protection. Boating and paddling facilities are also available at Bhulla Tal. A children park, bamboo machan and fountains have been erected as part of entertainment and beatification of pristine surroundings.

Tip-In-Top (Tiffin Top or Tip and Top): Situated in the ridge near St. Mary’s Church, Tip-in-Top is a popular point amongst the tourists visiting Lansdowne. The easy trek to Tip in Top goes through dense forest and rugged terrains ending up at a picturesque spot from where enchanting Himalayas can be seen.

Hawaghar: The trek to Hawagarh is a revitalizing experience. This easy trek passes through Khyber Pass along the road to Jaiharikhal.
