Day 1Arrival at Jammu and Transfer to Katra | Welcome to the Land of Goddess
As you arrive at the Jammu Airport/Railway station, your driver will warmly welcome you and transport you to Katra. Check-in at the hotel in Katra, and the remainder of the day is yours to relax or explore this charming town. Overnight stay in Katra.
Day 2Katra to Mata Vaishno Devi Darshan
Rise early and embark on a 14 km trek to the sacred Mata Vaishno Devi Temple, nestled at the Trikuta Mountain Peak, 5,200 feet above sea level. You can choose to hire ponies or palkies at your own cost, or you may opt for the trek on foot. Enjoy lunch at a midway point and continue your journey to Vaishno Devi. After performing puja, aarti, and seeking blessings, descend to Katra, arriving by late evening. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3Katra to Pahalgam | A Quiet Little Town Adorned with a blanket of Pine Trees and Crystal-Clear Rivers
Check out from your hotel and meet with the representative who will take you to Pahalgam. Along the way, visit Saffron fields and the confluence of the Lidder and Sheshnag rivers. Arrive at your Pahalgam hotel, check in, and enjoy a leisurely evening. Overnight stay in Pahalgam.
Day 4Pahalgam to Sriganar | Visit the Heaven on Earth
After checking out from your hotel in Pahalgam, your driver will take you to Srinagar. En route, explore the Awantipur ruins, a 1100-year-old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Later, you will be transferred to the jetty on Dal Lake, where traditional houseboats await. Experience the tranquility and beauty of the serene Dal Lake as you check in and spend the day admiring the breathtaking views. Overnight stay in a houseboat.
Day 5Excursion to Sonmarg | Explore the Meadow of Gold
Check out from your Srinagar hotel and embark on an excursion to Sonmarg. Spend the day at your leisure, with the option to visit the Satsar Lake, a chain of interconnected alpine lakes. Alternatively, enjoy a pony ride to Thajiwas Glacier, where snow persists year-round. After exploring Sonmarg, return to your Srinagar hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 6Excursion to Gulmarg | Enjoy the Highest Gondola Ride
Your driver will take you on an excursion to Gulmarg, offering glimpses of colorful villages and rice fields, providing insights into the rich cultural heritage of Kashmir. In Gulmarg, you can visit the world's highest golf course or enjoy a Gondola ride from Gulmarg to Khilanmarg, taking you past colorful shepherd hutments to the lower ridge of the Apharwat Peak.
