About Langtang Heli Tour
Helicopter tour commences early in the morning from Kathmandu, whisking you to the heart of the Langtang region, Kyanjin, with breathtaking views over mountain ridges. The vibrant and lush Rhododendron forest, visible from the helicopter, is a delightful sight.
The striking views of great peaks like Ganesh Himal (7,407m), Langtang Lirung (7,246m), Dorje Lapka (6,975m) and Gosaikunda lakes are the major highlights of Langtang Heli Tour in Nepal.
After a stop in Kyanjin, where you can explore Kyanjin Gompa and a Yak Cheese Factory, we'll continue our journey through the Langtang region. Next, we'll head towards Gosainkunda, known for its frozen lakes, which hold immense religious significance for Hindu pilgrims. According to belief, these lakes were formed by Lord Shiva's trident when he struck the Himalayas after consuming poison to quench his thirst.
Tour Itinerary
Day 1Kathmandu - Langtan Valley - Gosainkunda - Kathmandu
After having breakfast, we will leave Airport for the flight. From Kathmandu, we will fly northern part to reach Kynajin Gompa and land over there. Then after we will explore around there and head towards Gosainkunda. After exploring Gosainkinda we will return back to Kathmandu.
Morning 7:00 am - Kathmandu to Langtang Valley (20 minutes)
Morning 7:20 am – 8:00 am - Explore the Himalayas and photographs
Morning 8:00 am - Fly back to Kathmandu
