Preparations are underway to promote adventure and eco-tourism in Champawat district by developing Pancheshwar as a national-level angling destination. District Magistrate Manish Kumar conducted an on-site inspection of the angling beat and directed officials to prepare a detailed roadmap for the project. The initiative aims to boost sport fishing and generate local employment opportunities.

The Sharda Corridor, aimed at improving facilities for pilgrims visiting Maa Purnagiri Dham, has been approved at a cost of ?500 crore in its first phase. Once completed, it will expand daily capacity from 2,000 to over 10,000 devotees, with upgraded pathways, rest areas, sanitation, and safety systems. The Chief Minister directed officials to maintain quality standards and ensure timely completion of the project.
