Sat Tal is a cluster of seven high altitude natural lakes that are located near the town of Harsil in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. Sattal is located 3 kms uphill from the hamlet of Dharali which can be reached via trekking. The nearest motorable road is located at Harsil, 3 kms from Dharali. Buses and shared cabs ply to Harsil from Uttarkashi and other nearby towns and cities I Uttarakhand. The closest railway station to Dharali and Harsil is located at the foothills in Dehradun, some 220 km away. Jolly Grant in Dehradun is the closest airport to Dharali.
