Lansdowne Excursions

Tarkeshwar Mahadev: Dedicated to lord Shiva, Tarkeshwar Mahadev temple is surrounded by dense Deodar trees. This ancient shrine is located 38kms from Lansdowne at an elevation of 1,800mts above sea level on Kotdwar-Rikhnikhal road.

Siddhbali Temple: The residing deity of Siddhbali Temple is Lord Hanuman. Siddhbali temple holds enormous religious importance amongst the people of Uttarakhand and especially with the people living in Pauri Garhwal district. Siddhbali temple is situated on the edge of the mountain, 38km before Lansdowne, just 2 kms from Kotdwar city.

Durga Devi Temple: Dedicated to Goddess Durga, Durga Devi Temple is highly revered by the locals. Durga Devi temple is situated 25kms before Lansdowne and a small seasonal stream is flowing from below the temple. The water level is very low in the river and you can spend some time there as the place is calm and quaint.

Pauri Garhwal: Pauri is situated 78kms from Lansdowne on the northwest slopes of Kandoliya Hills in Garhwal region of Uttarakhand state.
