Kanvashram: Situated at a distance of around 40 Kms from Lansdowne or 14kms. from Kotdwar, Kanva Rishi Ashram is an important place from the historical and archaeological point of view.

Tarkeshwar Mahadev:


Dedicated to lord Shiva, Tarkeshwar Mahadev temple is surrounded by dense Deodar trees. This ancient shrine is located 38kms from Lansdowne at an elevation of 1,800mts above sea level on Kotdwar-Rikhnikhal road.

Siddhbali Temple:


The residing deity of Siddhbali Temple is Lord Hanuman. Siddhbali temple holds enormous religious importance amongst the people of Uttarakhand and especially with the people living in Pauri Garhwal district. Siddhbali temple is situated on the edge of the mountain, 38km before Lansdowne, just 2 kms from Kotdwar city.

Durga Devi Temple:

Dedicated to Goddess Durga, Durga Devi Temple is highly revered by the locals. Durga Devi temple is situated 25kms before Lansdowne and a small seasonal stream is flowing from below the temple. The water level is very low in the river and you can spend some time there as the place is calm and quaint.

Pauri:


Pauri is situated 78kms from Lansdowne on the northwest slopes of Kandoliya Hills in Garhwal region of Uttarakhand state. Diverse in topography and filled with places of tourist's interest, most locations in Pauri offers the invigorating view of the majestic snow-capped peaks of Himalayan range. You can also visit the famous sports field and Kandoliya temple of Pauri for amazing Gangarswun valley view and sunset.

Khirsu: Khirsu is situated 91 kms from Lansdowne at an altitude of 1,700mts above sea level. Khirsu is situated in a tranquil place with numerous oak trees, deodar trees and apple orchards around. Located in the Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand state, Khirsu affords captivating views of the imposing Himalayan range.

Ulkha Giri: Ulkha Giri can be reached after a 2 km drive to Chaudatakhal and an easy 2 km trek. Ulkha Giri is situated at a breathtaking elevation of 1900 mts above sea level affording ravishing views of the imposing Himalayas and misty valleys.

Jwalpa Devi Temple: This is one of the famous temple of Pauri region, located just 45 Kms from Lansdowne. It is situated on the left bank of the River Nawalika on the way to Pauri. This temple is famous among the boon seekers.

Kaleshwar Mahadev Temple: There is a centuries old holy temple, Kaleshwar Mahadev temple in Lansdowne city. This is Lord Shiva temple known as meditation field of many sages.

Bhairav Garhi Temple: Located at 18 km from Lansdowne in Kirtikhal, Bhairav Garhi temple is a famous Sidhpeeth. Here Lord Bhairav is worshipped and on the month of May-June a big festival is organized by locals.

Langoor Garhi Temple: Located at about 9000 ft height, Langoor Garhi is also known as Hanuman Garhi as Lord Hanuman is the diety of the temple. It is situated near the Bhairav Garhi temple, 18 km from Lansdowne. This temple was built in 1950 by Neem Karoli Baba.
