The entire village of Chirbatia is covered with dense rhododendron, oak, and deodar forests and a gushing waterfall adds to the beauty of the place. Terrace farming is practised here and villagers follow a rural lifestyle. Best time to visit Chirbatia

You can visit Chirbatia all year round, however the best time to visit Chirbatia is during summer and post monsoon season. 

During summers, the weather is very pleasant and the views are beautiful. Post monsoons, the paths are clear and the views are fresh and beautiful.

Monsoons have their own charm but occasional heavy shower and landslides may hamper your trip. Winters are very cold where temperature is very low. You can enjoy snowfall and do snow hike during winters in Chirbatia.

Trekking: Chirbatia serves as the base camp to the famous Panwali Kantha trek. It is an alternate route to Panwalikantha and is a 28 km trek with moderate difficulty. The trail is beautiful and worth exploring.

Camping: The village of Chirbatia is filled with lush greenery and the open spaces are perfect for camping. The greenery and the surrounding Himalayas make the place very relaxing and an ideal getaway.

Hike to Patangniya Top (meadow)

Hike to Patangniya meadow (highest point) of Chirbatiya with 270 degree view of Himalayas. Some of peaks visible from Chirbatiya are Trishul, Nanda Devi, Chang-Bang, Dronagiri, Neelkanth, Chaukhamba, Kedarnath and many more. This place is best suited for camping.
