Earlier Mori was famous for river rafting in Tons river but cause now Rishikesh based operators are selling cheap tourism packages so travellers are heading to Rishikesh for rafting instead of Mori. Other activities to do in Mori Uttarkashi are:

  • Jungle Walk: As Mori is situated in Singtoor range, it offers a variety of flora & fauna. Nature lover and walk through the tall deodar trees while enjoying the chirping of birds.
  • Beach Camping:  The whole stretch of Tons river is known for its beautiful beaches surrounded with tall and dark deodar trees.

Direct buses from Dehradun Railway station or Mussoorie bus stand (Dehradun) are available to Sankri which travel through Mori. You can get down at Mori. Buses from both Nainbagh & Hanol side are also available to Mori.
