Satpuli can be reached via Kotdwar or Pauri. Better connectivity is from Kotdwara as there are many taxi or bus service for Satpuli. Nearest railway station is at Kotdwara railway station (53 kms) and airport at Jolly Grant airport (127 kms).
Timely buses to some important places in Garhwal region are also available from Satpuli bus stand. Buses to Baijro (104 km) , Pabo (105 km), Kaljikhal (41 km), Pauri (52 km), Kotdwara (53 km) and Naugaun Khal (36 km).
BY AIR: The nearest airport is the Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun. Satpuli is at a distance of 123 kms from the Jolly Grant airport. Cabs are easily available outside the airport.
BY TRAIN: Satpuli is 60 kms away from Kotdwar – which is the nearest Railway Station. Kotdwar is well connected by the railway network with major cities of India as it is the gateway to the hills of the Garhwal region. There are regular trains running from major destinations in North India to Kotdwara. (two daily trains run from Delhi to Kotdwara and back (Mussoorie Express and Garhwal Express).
After ariving at the Kotdwara railway station, cabs are easily available outside the station. From Kotdwar the cab will take the following route: Kotdwara - Dugadda - Gumkhal - Satpuli.
BY CAR: From Delhi, Satpuli is at a distance of 275 kms and takes approximately between 7-8 hours to reach by road depending on which route you choose to take.
