By Road
Abbot Mount is well connected by motorable roads with major destinations of Uttarakhand. Even though it is well connected by motorable roads, this place is remote in its own way. Buses and taxis are easily available up to Lohaghat from where you can hire a shared taxi or a private one to Abbott Mount.
Driving directions to Abbott Mount from Delhi: Drive from Delhi via Moradabad, Rampur, Rudrapur, Khatima, Tanakpur, and Lohaghat to reach Abbot Mount. It is situated 437 kms from Delhi.
Upon reaching Lohaghat drive towards Pithoragarh for 6 km & arrive at Marorakhan. Turn towards Abbott Mount, drive 1 km and take a sharp U-turn and drive another 1 km to the lodge. This is the first lodge where the road ends.
