Kainchi Dham was established by a great saint Shri Neem Karoli Baba in 1960s at Kainchi village on Nainital-Almora road. It's a holy temple and ashram surrounded by hills and trees and a river flowing besides it. 

Neeb Karori Baba who is more popularly known as Neem Karoli Baba is revered by thousands of devotees who throng from various parts of the country. The "Tuesday" visits are considered more sacred.

Kainchi Dham in Uttarakhand

Nestled amidst the picturesque landscape of Uttarakhand, Kainchi Dham stands as a spiritual sanctuary and a haven of tranquility. Recently famous crickter Virat Kohli and Actress Anushka Sharma also visited the Kainchi Dham Temple.

Bus service started from Haldwani and Kathgodam to Kainchi Dham

Keeping in mind the convenience of the devotees, Kumaon Motors Owners Union Limited (KMOUL) has started bus service from Haldwani and Kathgodam to Kainchi. Five to six buses are being sent to Kainchi Dham daily. 

The fare for Kainchi Dham bus service from Haldwani is Rs 110.

Nainital to Kainchi Dham Taxi Service

Kainchi Dham has been increasingly recognized as a significant center of faith, resulting in a notable rise in the number of devotees over the past two years. Tourists visiting Nainital often travel to Kainchi Dham, typically using taxis or roadways buses that drop them off at Bhowali. From Bhowali, visitors need to travel an additional 8 kilometers by taxi to reach Kainchi Dham.

To enhance convenience for pilgrims and tourists, Kumaon Motor Owners Union Limited has introduced a direct taxi service from Nainital to Kainchi Dham. The bus fare is Rs 50, while the taxi fare ranges from Rs 80 to Rs 100 per person. These new services make the journey from Nainital to Kainchi Dham much more accessible and straightforward.

Kainchi Dham Official Website Released

Neem Karoli Baba Kainchi Dham Temple Trust released official website, now devotees will get accurate information. The trust also created IDs on various social media platforms like Facebook, YouTube, X (twitter) and Instagram.

The trust officials said that it has come to the notice of the temple committee and administration that some selfish elements are misleading the devotees by giving false information through social media and various channels of communication. Taking this seriously, the temple committee decided to launch its official website. Correct and certified information will be shared with the devotees through the official website.

Record 2.5 Lakh Devotees visited Kainchi Dham on 60th Foundation Day

The turnout of devotees for the Kainchi Dham Mahotsav on June 15th has surpassed 250,000, setting a new record. To ensure smooth management of the festival, the state government deployed all its resources, including the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), for the first time.

This year Kainchi Dham Mahotsav, celebrated on the birth anniversary of Baba Neem Karoli, has broken all previous attendance records, drawing crowds from across the country and abroad.

Kosya Kutauli Tehsil renamed as Shri Kainchi Dham Tehsil

Kosya Kutauli tehsil of Nainital district will now be Shri Kainchi Dham. In addition to that, Kainchi Dham has also been included in the Manaskhand Mandirmala Mission.

Kainchi Dham Festivals and Events
Kainchi Dham hosts numerous religious events and festivals throughout the year, with the most significant being the Neem Karoli Baba's Bhandara, held annually on June 15th. Staying in Kainchi Dham
