Since Adi Kailash resembles Mount Kailash in a lot of ways, it is also referred as Chotta Kailash or Little Kailash. Parvati Sarovar, though much smaller than the original Mansarovar Lake is also referred as ‘Mansarovar’.
The trek route to Parvati Sarovar follows that of Adi Kailash since it is located at the base of Adi Kailash peak. The trek to Adi Kailash/Parvati Sarovar begins from Tawaghat.
Route: Delhi - Tanakpur Railway Station - Dharchula - Tawaghat - Pangu - Sirkha - Galgat - Malpa - Budhi - Gungi - Kutti - Jollingkong - Adi Kailash/Parvati Sarovar.
