Dharchula town is encircled by many small villages. Kuti village is one of them. Kuti village is a culturally vibrant village with over 115 traditional houses. The village Kuti is named after Kunti (Mother of the Pandavas). It is said that Kunti stayed at this place for a long time. Note 1: From Kuti or Kutti village, Joling kong is at a distance of 14 km, the end point for Aadi Kailash Peak.
Note 2 : Gunji is the common village for both Aadi Kailash Trek & Kailash Mansarover or Om Parvat. The left route takes pilgrims towards Jolikong for Adi Kailash trek and right trek leads towards Liphulekh pass to Mansarover.
