Pithoragarh Fort is a historic architecture situated on a hilltop in the outskirt of the Pithoragarh town. The fort was built by Gorkhas during Chand period in 1789, after they tookover the town. The fort is located on a hill on the outskirts of Pithoragarh town. Visitors can also enjoy the view of Kali Kumao from the fort. Now the fort is in deteriorating condition due to the neglect of authorities.
