Hanol: Hanol is a picturesque village situated at an elevation of 1,429mts above sea level. Hanol is famous for Mahasu Temple and Pavasi Temple. The village of Hanol offers scenic beauty and tranquil environs.

Barkot: Barkot is situated at an elevation of 1,220mts above sea level in Uttarkashi district. Barkot is one of the important destinations of Uttarkashi district with good accommodation facilities available. Barkot has an ancient temple and it is situated 30kms from Purola.

Sankri: Sankri is a scenic village situated at a distance of 58kms from Purola in northwestern region of Uttarkashi District. It is located in the Tons Valley affording majestic views of the snow-clad Himalayas. Sankri is the entry point to the scenic valley of Har-ki-Doon. It is nestled at an elevation of 1,950mts above sea level.

Har-ki-Doon: Har-ki-Doon is situated at an elevation of 3,566mts in a cradle shaped valley. It is located 92kms from Purola of which 34kms must be completed by trek. It is one of the remotest places to visit in Uttarakhand. Accommodation in GMVN Tourist Rest House at Har-ki-Doon is categorized in Economy class and dormitory.
