Mirtola Ashram was set up by Sri Yashoda Ma, a housewife turned ascetic in the 1930. This ashram is situated in the Almora district o Uttarakhand. The deed of trust for the establishment is dated Almora, July 4, 1929. The ashram was later run by his disciple, Sri Madhava Ashish, another Englishman, who also later settled in India.
