Sonanadi Jungle Safari(Pakhro Entry Gate - Near to Kotdwar): The region has FRHs in both the Sonanadi Wildlife Sanctuary and the Domunda Tourism Zone of the Corbett Tiger Reserve. Halduparao, the only FRH in the Sonanadi Sanctuary and can be accessed from the Vatanvasa gate. The FRH at Kanda is in Corbett National Park. The FRHs of Morghatti and Pakhro are on the periphery of the Sonanadi Sanctuary and can be approached from Kalagarh and Kotdwar. The FRHs of Lohachaur, Rathuawadhab and Mundiyapani are in the Domunda Tourism Zone of CTR accessed from the. Durgadevi gate ahead of Ramnagar, The FRH of Kalagarh can be approached.

Tourists visiting the Corbett National Park have to obtain permits from the concerned authorities. The travellers can issue the permits from the administration centre located at Ramnagar. A 03-day permit is given on the spot after the correct personal info along with a photocopy of the identity card is made available. The foreign nationals have to produce their passport along with its photocopy to get the permit.
There are four entry points of Corbett Tiger Reserve which are Jhirna, Bijrani, Dhikala and Durgadevi. The travellers need to obtain two separate permits one for the entry of Safari vehicles and the other for lodging at the forest. These two permits can be issued online. It is advised to book your safaris in advance i.e. 30 days prior to your actual arrival as only 75 vehicles at a time are allowed to enter inside the Corbett National Park. Safaris can only be done in the specific zones. Once you have booked the safaris there is no provision for cancelling and rescheduling it. The number of vehicles to enter inside Corbett National Park is limited to 30 safaris each for Bijrani and Jhirna zone. While only 15 safaris are permitted to enter Durgadevi zone of Corbett National Park. Also, two 16 seater canter safaris are allowed in the Dhikala tourism zone.

Step 7: A new window will open with morning and evening availability with a book or closed option according to the availability.

Step 9: A new window will open with Terms and Conditions—move to the **bottom of the page and select the checkbox** saying Terms and Conditions for Entry-- click on proceed
Step 10: After clicking the Proceed button, a new window will open with two boxes inquiring about the number of adults & number of children. Fill it and click on Proceed
Step 11: A form will come fill all the mandatory details and then Click the Submit button.
Step 12: After clicking on the Submit button, details regarding the booking price such as Visitor Charge, Road Tax, Online Facility, and Total charge will show up.
