Staying inside Corbett Tiger Reserve offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience the forest beyond a day safari. The Forest Rest Houses (FRHs) located in different tourism zones allow guests to stay close to wildlife habitats while following the park's conservation guidelines.
Most Forest Rest Houses were originally constructed during the British period for forest officials working inside the reserve. Today, these government-managed accommodations are available to tourists with valid permits and advance bookings, offering basic facilities in natural surroundings.
Each Forest Rest House is located in a different safari zone and provides easy access to nearby wildlife habitats, birdwatching areas and safari routes. Accommodation is limited, so advance booking is recommended, especially during the tourist season.
