Udham Singh Nagar: Udham Singh Nagar is one of the important districts of Uttarakhand with district headquarters at Rudrapur. It belongs to the Kumaon division of the Terai region. Udham Singh Nagar was originally part of Nainital district and it was only in 1995 that it received an identity of its own. It is surrounded by Nainital on the north, Champawat to the northeast, Nepal to the east and Uttar Pradesh to the south. It is primarily an industrial district and you can find several industry related jobs in this place. Along with establishment of industries there has been an equal growth of agriculture as well. The fertile lands and weather conditions are a perfect blend for agriculture in Udham Singh Nagar. Udham Singh Nagar is situated 32kms from Jim Corbett National Park.

Nainital: It is situated at a distance of 66kms from Jim Corbett National Park at an elevation of 1,938mts above sea level. Nainital is named after an eye shaped lake set amidst the mountains with thick alpine trees. Nainital is situated in the Kumaon region and is one of the 13 districts of Uttarakhand state. Nainital is given the epithet of “Lake District” because it dotted with five lakes Nainital, Bhimtal, Naukuchiatal, Khurpatal, and Sattal. Nainital is a glistening pearl of the panoramic Himalayan Range blessed with spectacular natural splendors and varied flora and fauna. The lake is on its majestically height during the night time when the light of the houses, cottages and hotels situated on the mountains covering Nainital reflects upon it and makes the view invigorating. During night it feels like there’s a city underneath the stagnant water of Nainital. The perimeter of Nainital is approximately 3.5kms. Nainital is an ideal destination for families, honeymooners, poets and writers, nature lovers and adventure lovers as well.

Ranikhet: Ranikhet is a hill station in Almora District of Uttarakhand state. Ranikhet is also the home for Kumaon Regiment and Naga Regiment of Indian Army. Ranikhet offers invigorating views of the snow capped peaks of the prodigious Himalayan range. Ranikhet literally means “Queens Meadow or Queens’s field”. Bhim Tal: It is situated at a distance of 84kms from Jim Corbett National Park at an altitude of 1,375mts above sea level. The main attraction in Bhimtal is the Bhimtal Lake which has a small island at its centre. Bhimtal is an ancient place named after the legendary Bhima of Mahabharata when Bhima visited the place during the exile period of pandavas. Bhim Tal is older than the town of Nainital and is considered as one of the best excursions of Nainital. Bhim Tal is well connected with Kathgodam and all Kumaon regions and Nepal. It is an unsolved mystery but this place might have been the part of the ancient silk route of China.
