Apart from the Temple, the region offers various other attractions, including the picturesque Saptarishi Kund, where the seven sages are believed to have meditated, and the beautiful Hanuman Chatti, known for its scenic beauty and as a base for the trek to Dodital.

Reaching Yamunotri involves a combination of road travel and trekking, as the temple is not directly accessible by road. The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun. The closest railway station is Rishikesh Railway Station. You can either hire a taxi or take a bus to Hanuman Chatti. It is well-connected by road to major cities and towns in Uttarakhand. Regular buses and shared taxis are available from Rishikesh, Dehradun, and other nearby places. Hanuman Chatti serves as the starting point for the trek to Yamunotri, where you need to undertake a trek of approximately 6 kilometers.
