A marvel in terms of architecture, the Clock Tower Haridwar also known as 'Raja Birla Tower' is a landmark of the holy city of Haridwar. It was built by Shri Raja Dr Baldev Das Birla of Pilani and stands in utmost grandeur in the city's centre.

Constructed in 1938, the Birla Tower at Har ki Pauri Ghat is a four-sided structure with a clock on its each side. The dial on the clock depicts the hours in Roman numerals while the minutes are represented by a dot. If you visit the Clock Tower in the evening, you can see thousands of diyas bedecked on the flowerbeds floating in the tranquil water of Ganges.
