Indrasani Mansa Devi Temple in Rudraprayag

It is believed that the temple has extraordinary powers that cures snake bites. The victims of snakebites are brought to the temple and kept for a day. The victim takes a bath and stays inside the temple for one day and is cured by the next day. The locals believe that the victims are cured by the blessings of Goddess Indrasani Mansa Devi.

It is also believed that due to the blessings of the goddess, anyone who visits the temple remains safe from snakes; the snakes never bite them in their entire life.
