Kempty falls Kempty Falls is popular among the tourists who visit Mussoorie and this cascading waterfall has successfully lured tourists from the very beginning. Kempty Falls is located 15kms from Mussoorie on the Chakrata road surrounded by high green mountains and is set at an altitude of 4500ft. The fall offers astonishing view of scattered drops of water falling from the height of 40ft and the waterfall splits into five streams and it looks like that the streams are doing jumping and doing somersault with each other. The falls are closed in the monsoon and winters and stay open in the summers. Enjoy a vitalizing bath in this beautiful waterfall.

Bhadraj Temple: It is situated at a distance of 15kms from Mussoorie and is an ideal place for trekking. Bhadraj Temple is located on the extreme western region of Mussoorie and thus offers a splendid view of the Doon Valley, Chakrata ranges and the Jaunsar Bawar area of Garhwal Himalayas. The temple is dedicated to Lord Bal Bhadra, brother of Lord Krishna, and is situated atop a hill. Bhadraj temple organizes a fair in the third week of August (Shravan Sankranti) every year. Undoubtedly it is an important event for the locals and they look forward to it, this occasion attracts a lot of visitors as well.

Dhanaulti:  Dhanaulti is situated 25kms from Mussoorie amidst thick alpine forests of deodar, rhododendron and oak and it offers an atmosphere of perfect peace & tranquility. Dhanaulti often brings surprise for the tourists as the beauty of Dhanaulti is yet to be explored and is less popular amongst people. The woods, cool environment, scenic valleys, lovely weather and enchanting view of snow capped peaks of majestic Himalayan range makes it an ideal retreat for a relaxed holiday. Dhanaulti is situated on the Mussoorie -Chamba route.

Nag Tibba: Nag Tibba is a located around 55 km from Mussoorie. Nag Tibba falls just a few ft shorts from the breathtaking height of 10,000ft. It is the highest peak around the hill resort which is covered by thick alpine forests. It is an ideal spot for trekkers who are in love with nature and its divine beauty and it is also opened for trekkers throughout the year. Dehradun is the gateway to the famous hill station of Mussoorie and the pilgrimage spots of Haridwar and Rishikesh.  It is situated 35kms from Mussoorie. 

Surkanda Devi:  Surkanda Devi is an ancient temple located near Dhanaulti set at a breathtaking elevation of approximately 10,000 ft or 3030mts above sea level. This temple is dedicated to Shankars consort - Sati and one can reach there through 2 km easy trek. The trek to Surkanda Devi goes through dense forest rich in varied flora and fauna. The trek affords majestic and unforgettable view of the panoramic snow clad peaks of the splendid Himalayan range.

New Tehri: New Tehri is the only planned hill township of Uttarakhand which was made during the construction of the Tehri dam. Every month thousands of tourists visit Tehri to see the stagnant water of the massive Tehri Dam. The Dam is situated amidst high mountains many of which are submerged under water. New Tehri is very well connected with motorable roads. Tehri is situated 69kms from Mussoorie. There are many good hotels in New Tehri.

Chamba: Chamba is one of the best excursion of Dehradun as the place offers panoramic views of the majestic Himalayan range and the sacred view of the Bhagirathi River. Chamba is situated 50kms from Mussoorie at an altitude of 1676mts above sea level. Chamba is unlike Mussoorie as the place provides peace and tranquility. The place is quite and serene with pine and deodar trees everywhere.

Kanatal: Kanatal is situated 33kms from Mussoorie on Mussoorie-Chamba Road in the Tehri District Uttarakhand. Kanatal is a picturesque lake with pristine water which was forgotten and the lake almost died. Kanatal is now emerging as a popular tourist destination. The lake stands at an elevation of 8500mts above sea level amidst forest and lush fruit orchards. It is the gateway to the Char Dhams of Hindus situated in Uttarakhand, namely Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, Yamunotri. Haridwar is also written as Hardwar. The meaning of Haridwar in hindi language means Dwar of Hari or Gateway to God where 'Hari' means god and 'dwar' means gate. Haridwar is visited by lakhs of devotees every month to take a sacred dip in the holy water of Ganga River. Haridwar is situated 85kms from Mussoorie.

Chakrata: Chakrata is perched at an elevation of 2270mts above sea level in the Dehradun district of Uttarakhand state. Chakrata is a cantonment area situated between Yamuna and Tons river amidst coniferous, rhododendron and oak trees. Chakrata is a place blessed with natural beauty and panoramic views as to the east of it lies the famous Mussoorie and on the west lies Kinnaur. Chakrata is an ideal spot for nature lovers, bird watchers, adventure lovers and wild lifers as the place is more than capable of satisfying their needs. Chakrata is situated 80kms from Mussoorie.
