How to reach Chopta from Delhi?

Chopta is at a distance of 409 kms from Delhi. There are various modes of transportations that are available to reach Chopta:

  • By Road:  Chopta is well connected with major northern cities via motorable roads via NH-58 and via NH-109. NH- 58 connects it till Rudraprayag  then you have to take NH-109 towards Guptkashi. There is no bus service directly available for Chopta from Delhi. You need to change your bus from Rudraprayag or Kund. Buses and shared vehicles are easily available for Chopta (via Rudraprayag and Kund) from the major cities of Uttarakhand like Rishikesh, Haridwar, and Dehradun. It is advisable, to reach Chopta first you have to take the bus for Rishikesh or Rudraprayag then change another one for Chopta. In addition to that, Rishikesh is well connected with Delhi by Uttarakhand State Road Transport Corporation buses on a regular basis from Kashmere Gate ISBT. Chopta is about 207 km from Rishikesh.
  • By Rail: The nearest railhead is Rishikesh railway station, which is 207 kms from Chopta.
