Dehradun Mussoorie Ropeway in Mussoorie
The project was conceptualized in 2007-08 and was accorded the status of large revenue generating project (LRG). Yet, it failed to get all the forest clearances and was caught in red tape.
After a delay of nearly 12 years, this 300-crore project is expected to be completed within three years. “The ropeway would be made on a public private partnership (PPP) mode. A French company (Poma) would provide technical assistance in the project,” the CM said.
