You can start your trek to Rishikund from Bhallagaon village which comes under Joshimath region in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. Nearest railway station to Joshimath is Rishikesh and Jolly grant airport of Dehradun is the closest air route. You have to trek about 17 km to reach this magical location.
