The helicopter tours in Uttarakhand offer a fast, comfortable, and scenic way to explore the sacred shrines of the Himalayas. Among these, the Char Dham and Do Dham helicopter tours from Dehradun are the most popular choices for pilgrims and travelers. These tours mainly operate during the peak pilgrimage season from May–June and September–November.
The Char Dham Helicopter Tour is a premium and time-saving pilgrimage covering all four sacred shrines of Uttarakhand – Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. Starting from Dehradun (Sahastradhara Helipad), this tour allows devotees to complete the entire Char Dham Yatra within 4 to 6 days.
This tour is ideal for elderly pilgrims, families, and travelers who want to avoid long road journeys and difficult treks. With VIP darshan assistance, comfortable stays, and breathtaking aerial views of the Himalayas, the Char Dham helicopter package offers a luxurious and spiritually fulfilling experience.
The Do Dham Helicopter Tour focuses on visiting two of the most important shrines – Kedarnath and Badrinath. This tour is perfect for those who have limited time but still wish to experience the spiritual essence of the Himalayas.
Available in both same-day and 2–3 days packages, the Do Dham heli tour is one of the most in-demand options among pilgrims. It eliminates long travel hours and provides quick access to Kedarnath (which otherwise requires a trek) along with a comfortable visit to Badrinath.
Tip: It is recommended to book helicopter tours in advance during peak season as seats are limited and demand is very high.
