By Train: The nearest railway station is Rishikesh, about 150 km away. Regular trains connect Rishikesh to major cities including Delhi, Haridwar, and beyond. From Rishikesh, buses and taxis are readily available to Kanakchauri.
By Road: Kanakchauri is well connected by road along the Rudraprayag–Pokhri highway. Interstate buses run from ISBT Anand Vihar, Delhi to Rishikesh, Srinagar, and Rudraprayag. From Rudraprayag, local taxis and shared cabs are available to Kanakchauri (approximately 40 km).
From Rudraprayag: You can take a shared Jeep from Rudraprayag to Kanakchauri, which is the cheapest and best option. Shared jeeps takes around Rs 50 from Rudraprayag to Kanakchauri.
