Andhra Ashram

Andhra ashram is renowned ashram of Rishikesh, run by a group of South Indian people. Many festivals of south India are celebrated here. Sri Venkateswaravari Temple (Lord Balaji) & Sri Chandramouleshwara Temple are the temples which is situated in ashram. It was founded by Sri Sachchidananda Saraswathy in 1930s for Andhra Pilgrims who does not know about the local language. Hence he created a trust and gives the name of Andhra Ashram.

Ashram has 65 rooms and all are fitted with basic facilities for a stay. Only eighty rooms are equipped with the modern facilities. 

Daily Bhandara is organized in ashram. You can take your meal from there.

  • Ashram conducts Annual Brahmotsavams and Bandara (on the death anniversary of Sri Satchidananda Saraswati Maharaj).
  • Ashram also has its own mango garden where you can see many species of mango.
