It has now blossomed over 70 years of its existence into the largest ashram in Rishikesh. It was founded in 1942 by Swami Shukdevanand Saraswati. Ashram is famous for its Hawan on the Ghat of Parmarth and Ganga Aarti that takes place daily in the morning and evening. The ashram also runs a school, which follows the traditional and cultural Indian Patterns. Number of visitors visits the ashram at the time of the International Yoga Festival.
