An Ashram is a place for where one can do various spiritual practices, meditate and do Yoga to evolve and grow spiritually. There are some daily routine of the Ashram which is to be followed in order to stay in Ashram.

Badrinath is a revered pilgrimage destination and is visited by lakhs of pilgrims every year. There are many people staying in the Badrinath ashram as volunteers and if you want to stay there as volunteer then you have to work as per the guidance of the Ashrams. 

Badrinath Ashrams consist of only basic facilities with living quarters, dining hall, Yoga hall, library and gardens. There is no place or need for luxury in an Ashram.

1. Manav Kalyan Ashram

Badrinath is a sacred place that has the religious values for Hindu religion pilgrims. Badrinath is the only temple which comes under both Char Dham and the Chota Char Dham of Uttarakhand. It is situated at Badrinath Temple Road. The Ashram is just above the river Alaknanda and the Badrivishal mandir is just at a walking distance. The rooms and bathrooms of ashrams are clean and spacious. This ashram is open for all devotees. It provides the facility of stay and food at a very less price.

2. Bholagiri Ashram

Badrinath is a famous destination in India which has some religious values for Hindu religion peoples. Many pilgrims or tourists visit Badrinath every year. Badrinath is one of the four temples which comes under the Char Dham circuit. It is at NH 58, Badrinath. It is open for all pilgrims. Remember this is an ashram, not a hotel. So, don't expect any room service and modern facilities from here.

3. Badrikashrama Vanamali Ashram

Badrinath is one of the most popular religious place in Uttarakhand India. Badrinath temple opens only for six months in a year and closes for the remaining six months due to the bad climatic condition of the place. It is near Badrinath temple. Here you can join people of the ashram in their activities like pooja, Bhandhara, and ashram virtuous work.

4. Parmarth Lok Ashram

Badrinath is situated in Uttarkhand and it is one of the most famous place in Uttarakhand where many tourists come to take blessing from Lord Badri Narayan. This is a big ashram which is run by Swami Chinmayanand. Every day Bhandara's are organized by ashrams people for the pilgrims of the temple. Here you can get accommodation at a reasonable price with a few facilities.

5. Andhra Ashram

Badrinath is the land of Gods and it holds so much religious values for Hindu religion pilgrims. Badrinath is the only temple which comes under both Char Dham and the Chota Char Dham of Uttarakhand. It is near Badrinath temple. This temple is run by South Indian Trust. This ashram provides rooms for the stay at a very affordable price to everyone.

6. Bhajan Ashram

Badrinath is a sacred place for Hindu religion pilgrims. Thousands of people visit Badrinath every year to seek some blessing from Lord Badri Narayan.

Bhajan Ashram Badrinath is located in Badrinath. Badrinath Temple is a local landmark, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Nanda Devi and Valley of Flowers National Parks and Hemkunt Lake. Bhajan Ashram Badrinath offers 43 forms of accommodation. Housekeeping is provided on a daily basis.

7. Shri Hans Uttarakhand Ashram

Badrinath is the abode of Lord Vishnu who had meditated here for the good of all mankind and the world. Long after the Mahabharata Yudh, the Pandavas passed through this area on their way to Heaven. Rishis and Munis have been inhabiting this area since time immemorial. This is the land of the Gods on Earth. It is located near the Badrinath ISBT (bus stand), Shri Hans Uttarakhand Ashram offers their guests comfortable rooms. The main gate of this ashram will be closed from 10:00 pm to 04:00 am.

8. Shree Brahmrishi Sadhna Ashram

Badrinath's name comes from the multitude of ‘Badri’ (an edible berry) bushes that grow around here. Some of our legends said that Maa Lakshmi turned herself into a Badri bush to protect Lord Vishnu from the sun while he was meditating here that's why it is known as ‘Badri-Vishal’. It is located 0.9 km from the Badrinath ISBT (bus stand) Shri Brahmrishi Sadhna Ashram offers two-bedded rooms. Situated near the river bank, this ashram is a peaceful place ideal for meditation and prayer.

9. Sadhu Sudha Ashram

Badrinath Temple is the seat of Lord Vishnu. Every year millions of pilgrims visit this sacred place, the name ‘Vishnu’ means ‘present in every atom’. It is also mentioned in the Puranas and it also one of the holiest place in Uttarakhand India. It is located just 1 km from Badrinath ISBT (bus stand) Sadhu Sudha Ashram offers three and four-bedded rooms. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The ashram has a large compound with parking facilities.
