Around 1st-5th century AD, Jagatram and places like Haripur, Lakhamandal were under the rule of Vermans Clan. In the 3 AD, a Verman King 'Sil Verman' performs 4 rituals known as Ashwamegha Yagya. In these rituals he performed horse sacrifices to established his power. Out of the four sites, three sites have been uncovered except fourth which is still to be found.
